Alastair Scott is a Senior Partner at ERM with over twenty-five years of experience in sustainability consultancy. Alastair currently leads ERM’s M&A advisory team in Northern Europe providing both due diligence and ESG advisory support to private clients and bilateral and multilateral institutions. Since joining in 1996, Alastair has worked in ERM’s London, Beijing, Hong Kong and Singapore offices resulting in his involvement in transactions across Africa, Asia Pacific, Europe and the Americas across a wide variety of sectors. Juana is a Consulting Director at ERM, based in Johannesburg. Over the course of her 15-year career she has worked in development finance, management consulting and advisory services. She is the Financial Services, Corporate Sustainability and Climate Change lead for ERM’s Africa Business Unit.

She previously worked for the Development Bank of Southern Africa (DBSA), one of the largest development finance institutions and impact investors on the continent. Over the course of her nine-year tenor at the Bank, she was responsible for the development and execution of triple- bottom line corporate strategy across the organisation. Later, she helped establish the Product Innovation Unit and the High Impact Development Fund within the Bank. Here, she was responsible for developing high impact and sustainable products/ programmes that deliver financial returns while producing positive Environmental, Social and Governance outcomes. Prior to joining the DBSA she worked as a management consultant at Deloitte where she was responsible for formulating business strategies as well as implementation plans and processes for large listed corporates.
