ERM Consultant Isabella Kong has won the Rising Star Award as part of Environment Analyst’s inaugural Sustainability Consulting Awards.

These awards recognize and celebrate industry excellence in the sector, recognizing consultancies who have made significant advances in both their clients’ and their own sustainability journeys.

The Rising Star Award recognizes the inspiring efforts and achievements of an early career sustainability and environmental professional who is driving positive change within their organization and the wider consulting sector. Isabella is an Assistant Consultant in the Sustainable Finance Team based in Hong Kong. She was recognized for her work and volunteering efforts to help shape a sustainable future in corporate, government and NGO realms.

Todd Hall, Global Service Lead, Capital Project Delivery, who attended the awards with Isabella and four other ERMers last night, said, “From a room filled with the senior leaders of all of the major global consultancies with a hand in the sustainability space – representing a combined employee base of well over 100,000 individuals – it was tremendous to see Isabella recognized as the top rising star in the sustainability consulting industry. Her achievement is a reminder of the passion for sustainability that drives our mission at ERM, and it was a privilege to see her recognized.”

ERM also received highly commended awards for the ESG Innovation Award and the Net Zero Accelerator Award. ERM Consultant Archana Somasekharan was also recognized with a highly commended award for the Rising Star Award.

Linden Edgell, Global Sustainability Director, said, “Congratulations to Isabella and Archana – ERM’s rising stars. It is great to see the external industry recognition of their sustainability efforts within ERM and their own personal lives. They are truly an inspiration to us all.”
