Dafydd is an environmental geologist and sedimentologist, with over 24 years’ experience in offshore development, academia and consulting. Technically, Dafydd has delivered geology and seabed processes characterisation and impact assessment for major offshore projects and has managed significant projects for sectors including offshore wind farms, marine aggregates, capital dredge projects, and ports. He has significant experience of management of complex, large scale, multi-disciplinary projects, budgetary responsibility; management of subcontractors; guiding multidisciplinary and multiagency teams; and steering project delivery.  

Dafydd has a PhD in sedimentology, which focused on the responses of fine sediments to temporal changes in physical forcing. Dafydd has a specific interest in interpretation of shallow seismic and geotechnical data for marine assessments. Dafydd represents the Central Dredging Association on European Working Groups on Good Environmental Status and Navigational Dredging, and is a Fellow of the Geological Society.

Andy has 18+ years of experience in the renewable energy industry, initially in academia and for the last 17 years in consultancy. The majority of his consulting experience has been in providing technical due diligence for onshore and offshore wind projects, having lead advisory teams on projects in five continents and countless countries. Andy has experience working across both debt and equity markets and has a proven track record in delivering commercial and technical appraisals on development and operational stage projects/portfolios.  

Yvonne is passionate about stakeholder engagement. Experienced in proactively engaging with stakeholders across a diverse industry range. Delivering effective communications across all levels of communities, fisheries, public sector and industry and feeding back to engineering and technical teams. Delivery of Stakeholder engagment strategies and plans. Experienced in public consultation and delivery of public information evenings and in situ community meetings. Outstanding interpersonal, presentation and networking skills.

Ryan is a principal marine environmental consultant specialising in Environmental Impact Assessments (EIA), with experience of offshore and onshore consents.

James is an ambitious, driven and versatile environmental professional specialising in offshore renewables and marine development both in the UK and internationally. He is specialized in offshore renewables, large scale EIA assessment, project management/controls, marine and environmental legislation, multidisciplinary technical integration.

Huw has a scientific background with a PhD in coastal processes from Southampton, but has spent most of his career in commercial roles supporting marine infrastructure developments across sectors such as LNG, O&G production and, over the last 20 years, offshore wind. Huw has held roles with Cefas, that of executive director of an offshore survey consultancy undertaking site surveys for array and export cable characterisations, a period with Orsted as Head of UK Environment and Consents and, more recently, as a Partner with ERM providing environmental and sustainability expertise to offshore wind developers and operators.

Huw is a highly experienced marine industry leader offering a wide range of business expertise drawn from offshore wind and other markets: strategic planning, P&L responsibility, implementing business development and growth initiatives, contractual risk management, with a proven ability to create value through internal & external relationships, to lead change, and develop talent.

Huw is responsible for ERM's offshore wind growth strategy in EMEA. 

Shelly is a Marine Consultant at ERM and has been involved in a variety of different projects including offshore renewables (green hydrogen and offshore wind), oil and gas projects, mangrove restoration, subsea cable replacements and onshore energy recovery projects. Her work involves various stages of Environmental Impact Assessments (EIAs), Habitat Regulations Assessments (HRAs), Water Framework Directive (WFD) assessments, Environmental Desk Study Reports and Development Consent Orders (DCOs), while ensuring quality assurance of client deliverables through PM assistance or being part of the core team. Shelly has previous association with the marine consenting team and therefore is knowledgeable regarding the latest regulations and legislation within the UK and various international countries. She also has experience in client engagement. Shelly graduated from Heriot Watt University with a first-class BSc (Hons) in Marine Biology.

Nicholas is an Associate Partner at ERM, Global Delivery Lead of Renewables Transaction Advisory at ERM. He is a senior leader and co-lead for ERM's Renewables Advisory finance practice, responsible for debt and equity client business development, projects delivery and related business targets. Nicholas has more than 15 year of performance history managing and leading multi-disciplinary project engineering teams and due diligence assignments in the onshore and offshore wind sector. Collectively, he has advised on 100s of GWs of projects worth 10s of billions of pounds. He has spent substantial time embedded in project management and director roles for a range of clients working on projects across the world and is specialized in leading and overseeing the technical elements of due diligence projects. His experience spans from early stage development projects, through pre-construction, construction and operations stage projects, on behalf of various client types.

My primary focus was managing pre-financial close offshore wind farm due diligence, conducting wind turbine inspections, and undertaking construction and operations monitoring. I also provided offshore wind farm installation witnessing and conducted contingency analysis on behalf of lenders."
